Terms of Service
Last updated: 5 November 2026
These terms apply to the comuno.ro website and to the COMUNO platform, operated by RAVORA S.R.L.. Organizations that use COMUNO also sign an agreement with us; where it differs from these terms, the agreement applies.
1. About us
RAVORA S.R.L., CUI 55332988, J2026047270004, Sălicea nr. 248 Z, Sat Sălicea, Comuna Ciurila, jud. Cluj, România. Contact: [email protected].
2. Words we use
“Organization”: a customer that runs one or more communities on COMUNO. “Admin”: a person who manages an organization. “Member”: a person who joins a community. “Content”: anything published or uploaded on COMUNO.
3. The service
COMUNO gives organizations a branded website and private spaces for their communities, with features such as members, events, discussions, resources and paid PDFs. Which features a community has is decided by its organization.
Information on the comuno.ro website is general and may change as the product develops. The features and price that apply to an organization are those in its agreement.
4. Accounts
Communities are invite-only: you join through an invitation link or QR code from the organization.
Keep your password safe and don’t share your account. If you can’t sign in, an admin of your organization can give you a temporary password.
You must be at least 16, or have a parent’s or guardian’s consent [MINIMUM AGE — to be confirmed].
5. Acceptable use
Don’t use COMUNO to publish anything illegal, hateful, harassing, misleading or infringing someone else’s rights; to send spam; or to collect other people’s data without permission.
Don’t try to access what isn’t yours, break the platform’s security, overload it, or copy it automatically.
The organization’s admins and moderators may remove content that breaks these rules, and we may also suspend the accounts involved.
6. Your content
You keep the rights to what you publish. You give us and the organization the permission needed to store and show it to the people it is meant for, only to run the service.
Admins and moderators can remove content in their community. Deleting your account deletes your content.
7. Organizations’ responsibilities
An organization is responsible for its communities, its website and what is published in them, and for how it uses its members’ data — including having a lawful basis, for example consent for its newsletter.
It is responsible for the accounts it connects to COMUNO, such as its email account, PayU account and Facebook page, and for what is sent through them.
Admins act on the organization’s behalf. The organization makes sure they are entitled to.
8. Fees and payment
Organizations pay a subscription for their website and active communities, monthly or yearly, as set out in their agreement or order. Prices are agreed before the service starts.
If a subscription is not paid or an organization is suspended, its members lose access at once and its website goes offline one month later.
9. Sales between an organization and its members
When an organization sells PDFs or other materials, it is the seller: the money goes to its own PayU account, and it is responsible for the sale, invoicing, consumer rights and refunds. COMUNO provides the technology and is not a party to the sale.
Download links for website purchases work for 7 days; a refunded order closes its link.
10. Availability and changes
We work to keep COMUNO available and secure, but we can’t promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may improve and change features; we will give organizations notice of changes that significantly reduce what they use.
11. Ending the service
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. An organization can end its agreement as set out in it.
We may suspend or close an account or organization that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, or for non-payment.
On request, we send an organization a copy of its community data before it is deleted [FORMAT AND DEADLINE — to be decided].
12. Intellectual property
The COMUNO name, logo, software and design belong to us or our licensors. Photographs on comuno.ro are used under licence. You may not copy or reuse them without our written permission, except to link to or mention COMUNO.
13. Liability
We are not responsible for content published by organizations or members, for the services organizations connect (such as PayU, their email provider or Facebook), or for sales between an organization and its members.
For organizations, our liability is limited as set out in their agreement [LIABILITY CAP — to be decided]. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your rights as a consumer.
14. Personal data
How we handle personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by Romanian law. Disputes will be settled amicably where possible, and otherwise by the competent courts of Cluj-Napoca, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights.
16. Changes
We may update these terms. The version published here, with its date, applies; organizations will be told in advance of significant changes.
